Terraces — waterproofing and porcelain tiles
The terrace leaks into the flat below, or into your own room underneath. The cause is almost always old or split waterproofing beneath the tiles. We do the whole terrace in one go — lift the old surface, correct the falls and the drains, lay new waterproofing, and new porcelain tiles over it.
The site visit is free in Sofia and within 60 km of Sofia. Further out you pay the fuel only — we tell you the figure before we set off, and if you choose us it comes off the final price as a deposit.

When a terrace needs redoing
- It leaks into the neighbour below, or through the ceiling of the room underneath.
- Damp patches and staining on the wall below the terrace.
- Water pooling on the terrace after rain.
- Tiles cracked, hollow-sounding, or moving underfoot.
- The drain is blocked, rusted, or the water does not run towards it.
- The waterproofing is old, cracked, or was never there.

- Breaking out the old tiles and taking the debris away.
- Correcting the falls so water does not stand.
- Replacing the drains and the terrace pipework where needed.
- Waterproofing — liquid or sheet, depending on the terrace.
- Porcelain tiles laid over the whole area.
- Skirting to the walls and grouting.
Why we will not do the waterproofing on its own
The waterproofing sits UNDER the tiles. To replace it, the old tiles have to come up anyway — and then nobody wants to be left looking at bare screed. So the waterproofing and the tiling go together, as one job. We have never had a customer who wanted only one of the two.

The price is given after an inspection
The price depends on the area of the terrace, the condition of the base under the tiles and the porcelain chosen. It is given on site, after an inspection. We have completed terraces in Sofia and in Borovets.
